Appearance: Jett is a young man with clean and clear features. His skin is smooth and doesn’t have a single blemish or scar. He has more of a diamond shaped head, with droopier almond eyes, and a small nose. He doesn’t really have an ounce of any body hair, unable to grow much. He usually takes care of his skin with face lotions and anything else. He easily burns in the sun and has to constantly apply sunscreen to be able to be outside for long periods of time. Due to the oiliness of sunscreen, he has to take delicate care of his face to ensure he will continue to have baby smooth skin, always worried about his facial appearance.

He stands at about 5’10” in height and has a normal body weight to match. He is on the slimmer and lean side, without much fat to cover him. His fingers are bony and long from the lack of meat that seems to be on him, despite his eating habits, and is just being covered by skin. He has a bit of muscle from the amount of exercise and lifting he is always doing on a daily basis, though it doesn’t add much to his figure besides toning his arms, legs, and abs. He tries desperately to add on more weight though it is very hard for him to do since he has a higher metabolism.

He has ocean blue eyes that are constantly said to be his eye-catching feature, no pun intended. He’s the type of guy to wear eyeliner on occasion just to enhance his eyes. He has thick, messy, lilac purple hair, that often curls at the ends. His hair was hand dyed by himself when he wanted to stand out more. He tries to keep it neatly styled, trying not to let any of the curls free. He usually styles his hair in a professionally messy manner. The longer strand of hair is usually braided to keep the piece out of his eyes. His hair is kind of stringy and not the softest due to his bad dying habits. He wears little star clips every now and then, normally on special occasions such as a meteor shower, since he believes they can bring good luck.

His arms are lined with tattoos. These tattoos are black and consist of constellations. These start from his wrists on both arms and travel up to his stopping at his shoulder blades. He has a crescent moon tattooed on his left hand. He has these tattoos because of his fascinations with the stars. He does these tattoos himself, without the help of anyone else. He has a tendency to draw more constellations on his right hand before washing them away with water, restarting again the next day.

Jett has an outfit style unlike any other. He adores wearing capes and hoods as if he was acting out like a fairytale prince. He can usually be found with a thick cape even in the warmer weather. His clothes beneath his cape are usually normal as can be. A simple pair of pants, a black shirt. He’s only picking when it comes to wearing his cape. He wears various pieces of jewelry such as rings, watches, necklaces, and earrings. It’s hard to find him without these pieces of jewelry due to his fascination with them and their unique intricate designs. He’s not really afraid to wear anything, even if could be deemed weird or odd. He’s always willing to express himself in some way or another.

Personality

Personality: Jett usually has his mind in the clouds, or in this case, the stars. It’s not an exaggeration to say he’s obsessed with the little doodads in the sky. He can normally be found stargazing at night, always watching the moon rise. He doesn’t have much interest in anything else besides the sky, normally carrying around books upon books and handheld telescopes just to see a glimpse of them every now and then. It’s hard to hold a conversation that has nothing to do with the galaxy or what’s beyond earth for long before he starts babbling about the shiny dots in the sky.

He’s often referred to as a huge dork with his obsession with the stars. He will spend hours gazing at them before moving onto another activity. He loves anything that has to do with the galaxy, or anything space in general, having the urge to constantly research the thing he loves. The endless possibilities in the galaxy are the only thing that really drives him to do things in life. He isn’t really interested in much else or doesn’t allow himself to be, solely focused on the world he was raised into by his family.

He’s a very emotional guy and doesn’t really care to hide it. He can be found in a romantic movie, crying at one of the sadder scenes, or bawling his eyes out because a puppy got hurt whether on television or not. He has a soft spot for the sadder things of life, though he tries to remain optimistic. He’s a heartfelt guy and it doesn’t take much to pull his heartstrings. Despite his past issues, he has a hard time hiding his feelings, constantly wearing them on his sleeve. At times he has a hard time coping with his feelings and just cries to get it all out. He’s a gentle guy with a soft heart that can break easily.

He’ll take a risk and not really consider the consequences. Jett can be quite the daredevil when he wants to be and will take a chance. He always likes putting himself at some sort of risk, taking a gamble. Without a risk in life, there is no adventure. He needs the thrill of a rush, a risky adventure to make his life complete. Without that he finds his life to be bland and boring which he wouldn’t stand for. He needs the thrill to keep himself going. What would life be without playing a game of chance every now and then?

Jett has a very kind soul. He’s gentle and caring towards almost anyone and feels the need to always help out when he can. If he sees a poor person, he’s most likely going to give them some many to buy them food rather just walk on by, incapable of ignoring them. Even if his life may be at risk, he can’t fight the urge to help anyone out, or else guilt will end up eating him alive.

He is a very friendly guy and doesn’t have many problems interacting with people. Though he can be quite hesitant with trainers at times, trying not to stir the pot and cause any messes that he can’t clean up on his own. He’d rather not get create a mess that can’t be easily solved with a few quick apologies. He’d rather go into hiding than cause any issues with any trainers. Other times he avoids talking to avoid from annoying anyone, constantly bothering them with his interest in the stars. Better to be silent than creating a fuss.

Because Jett is quite caring, he can be quite invasive as well. If he thinks two people would be good together, he is likely to try and set them up. If there is an issue, he would probably put himself on that issue as well or try to invade the business of the people who have the issue at hand. He wants to try help everyone, that includes him sticking his nose where it doesn’t always belong.

He is a very family-oriented guy. He loves his family to death and wouldn’t dare betray the pack he is in. He tries to be very loyal to his family teachings, never really straying far from the path they put him on. He’s not much of a rebellious individual despite his tattoos and his hair, trying to remain a good boy when it comes down to who he actually is. He’d rather be known for bringing good to the world rather than creating a ginormous issue.

Jett doesn’t dislike Pokemon, he rarely sets out to interact with them. Whenever he can spare the time or the food, he’ll attempt to feed them and be friendly. He isn’t really aware of how to deal with Pokemon since he’s never really interacted with them much as a kid. He’s only dealt with the Pokemon at his father’s observatory, which was rare since he wasn’t supposed to go inside unless absolutely necessary.

He is a horrible morning person. Jett has the worst habits of staying up until dawn and sleeping through the day. Due to this, he can be awful to deal with if he’s required to get up in the morning or his sleep has been disturbed. He can be quite spiteful with his tongue and usually avoids any interaction until he was at least somewhat awake. Disturbing his sleep is the worst idea. He doesn’t really care to fix his attitude or his sleep schedule, enjoying the time he spends staring at the stars rather than the

Battle Style: Jett doesn’t really have much of a battle style since he’s never really participated in Pokemon battles before. If he did battle, he’d focus on bringing little damage to his team and landing critical hits to quickly finish the battle. He’d potentially start to rely on defensive tactics to make sure his Pokemon remain unharmed in any way, trying to protect his babies from harm. He’d be a bit reckless at first about battling since he doesn’t really know what to do, and immediately rely on the strength rather than anything else before he’d switch into a more defensive mode. His main tactics would end up being: critical hits, strength, occasional use of defense, and keeping his Pokemon's life up.

Background

History: Jett was born in Laverre City, located in the Kalos region. Ever since he could remember, his family had always been gazing at the stars. For his birthday, they’d take him stargazing, trying to show him there was a vast and endless world after their own. Due to their upbringing, this caused him to attach to the stars, trying to stuff himself with knowledge of them ever since he was young. He always wanted to learn more and more. He had the need to learn everything he could before his time in the world passed.

His father was a scientist, constantly studying what was in space. His main focus wasn’t the stars like Jett’s had been. His father was studying the potential Pokemon life that could exist in outer space. Due to this, Jett didn’t get to see his father often since he was locked up in the observatory and it was the one place that little boy wasn’t allowed to go. Only on rare occasions did he have the privilege to go into the observatory to gaze at the endless constellations that filled the sky.

Despite the lack of his father’s appearance in his life besides the special days, his mother raised took care of him the best she could. She constantly was fixing up the messes he made with his rambunctious behaviors as a kid. She constantly taught him her views of the world and how wonderful it was. She sparked the interest in his traveling in his later life. Jett loved being around his mother and didn’t really have many worries about the world due to her teachings, constantly being shown the bright side of the world.

Jett ended up being homeschooled since his mother wanted him to be taught a specific way. She never really believed in Pokemon battles or what they were meant for, keeping him away from any of the trainer's schools. She wanted Jett to learn the way she did with her mother, carrying on the tradition of doing something else with her life than battling Pokemon. This caused a disinterest in becoming a trainer after a once held excitement. He molded to the teachings of his parents without much consideration.

Unfortunately for Jett, his father became so absorbed into work, he ended up transferring to Lumiose City, leaving him and his mother behind. Though he promises that’d he’d eventually come back, it never did happen, and she was left to raise her child alone and without any fatherly guidance. This caused Jett to have a more “feminine” output on life as people would say due to having his father leave so early in his life when he was still able to be left with an imprint.

Once Jett turned 16, he had the urge to see the world. Spread his wings and see the stars from a new city. He no longer wanted to stay in Laverre City, despite that being the home of his mother, and maybe even his father’s one day. He wanted to leave the nest and search for adventure. Experience new things and see the world in a completely new light. Fleeing from the coop, he headed out on his own adventure.

Because he came from Laverre City, many people assumed he had some hidden powers being near fairy and ghost types. Though this wasn’t true, he picked up reading fortunes from filling a “mystical” water in his glass cup and “seeing” the fortune of their lives. He used this as a gimmick to make people feel better, not using it for money, though when his guesses were on point, most people left him a large enough tip.

He started trying to figure himself out along the way of his travels. Meeting new people, seeing new places. He just couldn’t seem to find a heart that matched his own and he sought for another companion. With the very little interaction he did at times, he couldn’t find a wavelength to match his own, sticking to the stars that would forever understand him and his mind. He continued to try and find himself as he went along. Though he didn’t “find” himself, he found that the world was just as wonderful as his mom described it to be.

Jett started seeing the stars from different places. Trying to see their light in a new way. Slowly he traveled to Lumiose City, where he currently resides with his father, studying the galaxy with him and the potential Pokemon life. Though Jett has little interest in the Pokemon world, he is slowly becoming involved. He spends most of his days in Lumiose either gazing at the stars or residing in his father’s new observatory (which he has not been granted permission into.) Jett is content with the life he’s made.

Other Information

Jett has picked up the gimmick of fortune telling. It’s always a fifty percent chance whether his guesses will ever be right or not since he doesn’t actually know how to properly tell fortunes (though he is starting to read books on this and is attempting to properly give fortunes.) He has a blue cup that he fills with water that he says is mythical, and “sees” their life within the water. In all reality, he is staring at the plain water and making guesses that he hope is right, wanting to please the person he is reading for.
