The mountainous land of the Arche Valley and lifestyle of the Arcean faith has molded Enoch into what he is today. Long months of training, fasting, and the environment itself has given him a sturdy frame with a slight amount of bulk but not muscle-bound. Standing at five point nine feet tall and weighing at a 140 he has a fair complexion by the geographical region standards such as rough skin and scrapes from the rugged terrain. His feathered, brown hair flows down to the bottom of his neck along with light bangs that frame his vivid green eyes. Much like his father Enoch has a strong jawline yet more rounded cheekbones from his mothers side. His arms and legs are strong yet lean and limber.

Much like most inhabitants of Arche Valley, Enoch attire consists of a basic knight shirt with the Arcaeus wheel insignia on the back and his family crest coat of arms on his shoulder. A brown belt goes around his waist that has stitching on each side of the belt that tells the first moments of creation, the belt would usually be holding Enochs pouch that contains his pokeballs and other items. The last of his attire consisted of brown medieval pants and boots along with a thick brown wool cape.

Defining Traits:

His vivid green eyes are believed as a sign that he is blessed by Arceus by many scholars, while dismissive by some. As determining which shades of normal color is considered "blessed" are not easy.

A thin necklace of strong material holding the Golden Wheel is worn around his neck, the necklace is visible with the Golden Wheel resting on his tunic.

Personality

Personality:

Like any environment, The Arche Valley sculpted his personality as he grew in its high valleys and fertile fields. The largest and most grand Cathedral in all the region has enriched his mind and spirit. Much like his father and those before him Enoch was honorable to both his loved ones and the church. He strives to be worthy of carrying on the family trade of serving Arceus that goes all the way back to the Crusades or the Great Schism, most of his ancestors survived Judgment Day as Kalos was obliterated from the sky. Thus most of his childhood was dedicated to the ways of the world from his father and his free time was spent on holy scriptures. Thus he became somewhat of a goody two shoes as a result of his childhood. While headstrong and level-headed, he can get a bit zealous although he retains a strong sense of chivalrousness. Most of his devout and honorable nature came from his father who was a well known Baron in the town. While he was not around children much he did had a few friendly Pokemon he played with, such as a local Rufflet and Eevee, his earlier interactions with Pokemon helped him understand the importance of life.

In his mid teens he moved to Pallet Town as his mother accepted a job opening for biologists at the lab there. Now exposed to the outside world and the regional politics Enoch became more of a fanatic as he became angered by poaching, pounds, illegal research, and plain disrespect for Pokémon. So the ambition was fueled in his spirit, the fire to prove his worth and connect with Arceus creations. The dream of becoming a Pokémon Master was born, to prove that he is Arceus Champion. He did not care if that seemed egotistical, his determination is absolute. To be the very best like no one ever was.

Battle Style:

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;. Or close the wall up with our Kalosian dead. This ideology is what defines his strategy in battling. To forge strong bonds with his Pokémon so that no force shall overtake or separate them. Learning about the theory of Mega Evolution had only strengthened is belief and he knew those comradeship cans overturn mountains. In battle he likes to improvise and use the environment to his advantage, while not overly statically he has a strong sense of battling and instinct. He also gives a bit of autonomy to his Pokémon and teach them to think on their feet, thus he gives himself an advantage of unpredictably in a fight. Not to mention faster reaction time.

Background

History:

Enoch was born in a religious community in the sacred valley of Arche. The Church of Origin Light held large power for thousands of years ago. Back then, those who knew how to train with Pokemon were considered blessed by the creator. There were no Pokeballs, and trust had to be formed between Pokemon and Trainer. Of course, with the rise of science and discovery, the Church lost a lot of prominence over the ages, usually only given lip service, and their stories used to teach moral lessons and little else. No longer did the nobility takes the Church seriously as a power as the world modernized, however the old ways paved the way for chivalry as it is known today. While one might sees a Church periodically, every generation took less and less of the creation stories of old into their lives. With the recent rise of technological advancement, however, some are beginning to return to their roots to make certain that the natural order of things are kept. Enoch's ancestor, Sir Richard Godfrey the Lionheart became the first crusader in the region after the great schism between the Church and Magi, in the following crusades both of them would be reduced to small pockets as the Ultimate Weapon crafted by King AZ laid waste on the region. Magi became myth and the church was reduced to a small enclave in the valleys.

Enoch Godfrey was the youngest heir of the Godfrey line, his family was somewhat small but still have strong voice in the Church. Most of his childhood was within the sacred halls of the cathedral, performing Arcean hymn, and was engaged in early theological studies. As he grew he was enrolled into Bible School and learned the more esoteric nature of the Arcean faith. After class he was taught in his family history and became proud of his heritage, desiring to honor his bloodline to the point of fanaticism. He was committed to his belief, often performing long hours of worship and even became a Celibate as he believes passion clouds the mind of true love and strove to not be tempted by sexual relations. His progress was noted by his peers and was praised for his zealous drive to be one with nature. At the age of ten he was honorably selected to be Arceus Apostle by the church and later months were spent on grooming and nourishing his spirit and mind. He was taught to read the heart of Pokemon and commune with them, including Arceus. However this is a lifelong process and it will be years till he mastered this ability.

In his teens it became clearer to him that he cant spent all his time within church walls and Arceus had plans for him of greater things. At the passing of his fourteenth birthday his father passed away and his title of Baron was passed down unto him. However he would need to go to the Battle Chateau in the future to secure his title so that it will be passed down to his own future children. He took his Fathers death gracefully but the same could not be said for his mother. Desiring to mourn away from the church he took a job opportunity in Pallet Town in the Kanto Region. The exposure of the outside world was a bit of a cultural shock to Enoch, as he never ventured farther than the church grounds, while he had done errands out into the valley town he was still isolated from technology. He was surprised on how much sin there was in the world. Gang wars, Poaching, Atheism, Theft, and many others disturbed Enoch. He did not falter in his belief as he now saw why Arceus had brought him to Kanto. Enoch knew it was his destiny to hold up the banner of the Church and defend the world from evil. To teach others about the bonds of Pokemon and make things a better place. So he spent the next few years taking the required exams and papers to be qualified as a trainer. All the while sticking close to what he believes in. Believes that he will help makes a better tomorrow.

As a Arcean Worshiper he can read the hearts of Pokémon and is capable to communicate with Arceus or other Legendaries and receive power from it. However as he is still young the learning process is indefinite, as he must dedicate his whole life to the teachings of Arceus.

A link to his past, and known for their headstrong behaviour and idealistic courage, Enoch may find a lot of himself in these fierce little crested avians.
