Next Stop, Nowhere! Empty Next Stop, Nowhere!

The boy sighed deeply. What had he done?
His parents had given him so much money to use. The impulsive child found himself at the game center of Veilstone City. Boy, those slot machines are addictive... he opened his wallet to check what he had left.
Only :PD:5000! Eelis sighed at his irresponsibility.

He'd at least managed to win something from it. He could perfectly recall the scene.
A seven? Probably the only one-- another seven? Meh... I won't get my hopes up-- what the.. a third seven?! And immediately afterwards, coins poured out the bottom in celebration. Of course, he blew out all the coins he earned on one prize. But the prize wasn't something mediocre. In fact, it was a prize he was rather glad to take. It was a Pokemon, Dratini.

Now he was in the outskirts of Veilstone City, making his way to Celestic Town. Looking upwards to the moon, he realised that it was very deep into the night, but he was far too motivated to sleep. Though it certainly wasn't through traditional means, he had his first Pokemon. He honestly did not know very much about them or even how battling works, really, but he hoped to learn about them somehow. The thing was, he really had no clue how where to start.

Veilstone City was a big place for anyone to be wandering in the middle of the night, but for a scrawny boy like Eelis who had little idea of what he was doing, that was a dangerous game to be playing. Game corners were filled with suspicious individuals, after all, and one such person stepped out from the darkness before the rookie could finish his walk to the end of the street.

"Yah," It was a teenage girl, with thick black hair, tanned face partially concealed by a simple white mask that hung over mouth and nose from ear to ear. She wore a school uniform, mostly navy, but the pleated skirt went all of the way to the thug's ankles, and her black shoes were sneakers rather than plimsoles or regular flats. "What's a little boy like you wandering around at this time for? Got somewhere that you need to be?" The yankee sneered, "It's late. Maybe that place is in bed, if y'don't wanna catch your death."
