Appearance: Ibb wears her black hair very short, just reaching her chin in the front and shaved at the back. She has a round face, large green eyes, and a very small scattering of freckles on her cheekbones (with a slightly larger collection on her shoulders as well). She’s neither overweight, nor thin, looking simply as though she fits in her body.

Her clothing tends towards the practical: jeans, paired with a tank top, and a Celadon Gym sweater. The sweater is forest green with the Oddish family line embroidered on the back and was given to her by her mother. She wears a tool-belt that she re-purposed when she was younger to hold treats, some common grooming supplies, and some first aid supplies. Now that she has left home to do some traveling she also wears a hiker’s backpack with the rest of her supplies in it.

Defining Traits: If someone were asked to describe Ibb after a first meeting they might focus on her eyes, her freckles, or her unusual haircut, or if they got a good look at her hands: the calluses, small scars, and scrapes on them.

Personality

Personality:
Ibb is very compassionate, far more likely to try and see things from the other person’s perspective than argue her own side. She hates to see anyone in pain, people or pokemon, and will work to make everyone happy. She can be a pushover sometimes, wanting to make people happy so much that she doesn't stand up for herself. Despite that she doesn’t make a lot of close connections, sharing little of herself.

Not very finicky when it comes to appearances, Ibb is just as likely to walk around with grass or dirt stained knees as not. She keeps her hair short for convenience, but doesn’t trouble herself too much with keeping it maintained. When it starts to get in her way she gets it cut again, but she doesn’t worry overmuch about how it looks. In the in-between stage she will pull the front half of her hair up into a ponytail to keep it out of her face if it starts to get in the way.

Ibb is really passionate about the Eevee line and really wants to showcase their amazing potential and breed Eevees that will excel with trainers and coordinators alike. She plans on traveling the world and learning everything she can about breeding techniques and the care of pokemon. She wants to be a breeder that is known the world over.

Background

History: Isabel was born to her parents Balduino and Keavy Linsley in Celadon City, Kanto. Keavy was a trainer, specializing in fire type pokemon and lived part-time in Celadon, and spent time traveling, even after the birth of her daughter. Balduino worked as a cashier in the Department Center and tended to the home, especially while Keavy was traveling.

Balduino was an accomplished gardener, and as Ibb grew up their balcony turned into a tiny forest of berry bushes and various plants, they grew an herb garden on their kitchen counter, and they even grew mushrooms under the sink! Ibb took this love of and curiosity about plants with her as she explored around the city’s edges, first with her father and their Growlithe, Copper, and later just with Copper.

When Keavy was at home Ibb loved playing with her and her pokemon. Keavy taught Ibb the basics of training and battling, pokemon nutrition and grooming, and generally how to care for pokemon. Copper was the offspring of Keavy’s Arcanine and Pyroar, and was given to Ibb when she was three to take care of Keavy’s family when she couldn’t be around. When Ibb was fifteen Keavy gave her a sweater from the local gym, hoping that Ibb’s interest in pokemon would drive her to be a trainer like her mother.

Ibb didn’t really have a lot of close friends among her age-mates. She never got as interested in battles as most of them, too willing to concede if her pokemon started looking hurt or scared. She was a little too interested in the lands surrounding the city as well, not for the pokemon that lived in the area, but for the plants that grew there. It was cool to play at looking for pokemon, or trying to catch them for real as they grew older, but an interest in the plants was stranger.

As Ibb grew she became more fascinated with the care of pokemon, and especially people who bred them, trying to bring out the best parts of the breed. She got the usual part-time job at the Department Center when she was fifteen, but she also worked hard to ingratiate herself to the local Eevee breeder and when she was seventeen she got a job as his assistant. She was essentially just his dogsbody for several years, but she also learned every scrap of information he was willing to share with her as she worked.

Ibb worked with the breeder for five years, absorbing knowledge and stashing away every penny she could until she had enough to purchase one of the Eevees she had helped breed. She spent some time training her beloved new partner in the local area, before preparing for a journey of her own. At this point her mother had retired from the travelling trainer life, and Ibb had no qualms leaving her home to begin her own journey. Her parents helped her to gather supplies and to outfit herself, and with a promise to write, Ibb left home to begin her own journey into learning everything she could about pokemon breeding.

Personality: Excitable and stubborn, she rarely runs out of energy and loves meeting new people and Pokémon. She's often impatient, however, and sometimes demanding when she wants something.
